Still A Kitten At Heart

Growing up quickly, I had to give up many of my earlier dreams and hobbies. I used to always enjoy the rush of a good hunt. My slender frame and excellent reflexes always helped me when chasing down my prey. Having a litter of kittens may have slowed me down a bit and I wondered if I even had the energy anymore.

I had only a taste of what my other felines have shared stories about. Having my precious fur balls  changed my priorities really fast, but I wouldn’t change it for a moment. I still, though, daydream of the thrill of the hunt, of being out there catching a new adventure. Read more

Rabbit Treats

This morning, the sun had not yet risen, but I knew it was time to rise. Surrounded by pillows, blankets, and bodies, I nestled my head a little bit deeper into her arm one last time. A much needed rest after all the hard work I spent searching for treats the day before. Then I remembered – FOOD. I am starved. I wasn’t even thinking about food until I actually realized it was morning and I had not eaten anything through the whole night. Read more

The Parliament Wig

Earlier this week, I found a really silly wig-looking thing. I batted at it and gripped it with my claws, trying to get a feel for its purpose. Light, twirly and shiny – but still a mystery.
