Maddox and Eddie are two awesome kitties looking for homes. Currently Maddox is a foster here at the humble abode of Purrfect Tales and Eddie is with a foster family through The American Street Cat. They are both adult cats which means they don’t have the best of odds getting adopted during the spring time when it’s kitten season. BUT there are so many good reasons why adopting an adult cat is sometimes the best choice!
Every year in December the Mayors Alliance for NYC’s Animals partners with Petco to host the largest adoption event of the winter season. There are so many awesome rescue groups that participate and that bring their amazing kitties to the event for the chance to find their new family.
Our Purrfect Tales Kitty Guardian joined the volunteers from Empty Cages Collective (ECC) with their wonderful adoptees this past weekend. Our former foster kitty, Luna, the mother of 5 kittens was brought to us by ECC back in April. From there we made sure to always bring Luna and any of her kittens to as many adoption events as possible. Fostering is not easy but it’s incredibly rewarding when your foster finds their home.
Adoption events cannot happen without the aid of volunteers and a huge THANK YOU goes out to the volunteers of ECC and the Mayors Alliance for NYC’s Animals.
There were quite a few lucky kitties this past weekend that found homes and ECC is ecstatic about the new adventures ahead of them.
Some of the other kitties and bunnies that ECC still has up for adoption are listed below. If you’re interested in adopting you can reach out to us here at Purrfect Tales or by visiting their pet finder page at ECC on PetFinder.com
Remember – Adopt Don’t shop 🙂
Purrs and hugs,
